Asbestos Case Ruled In Favor Of Manufacturers

A case deciding whether equipment manufacturers should be at fault for their machines being used with products made of asbestos on U.S. Navy ships was ruled in favor of the manufacturers. The California Supreme Court protected them from liability stating that if they had ruled with the plaintiffs, ‘absurd results’ could’ve transpired.
