In my recent post about the benefits of LinkedIn I encouraged commercial and industrial entities doing business in the industrial marketplace to join the online professional networking service. Once you have established an account you can start taking advantage of the other free services it offers.
LinkedIn offers a free online Company Directory listing to its users. It is simple to add your Company. Simply put your company name and the email address you want to associate with the service that will allow you to manage the LinkedIn listing. You will receive an email that contains the information you need to complete the process. Follow the instructions and you’re done. It’s that simple.
There is no reason for you not to take advantage of the free online directory listing and plenty of reasons to do so. One of those benefits actually has to do with yet another free service available to its registered users, which I will talk about in my next post about free LinkedIn services. Interesting blog that you have. I found a new one the other day. They look open for business, but very similar to linkedin.com with more of a social business directory look and feel. Nice thought out interface though. It’s at SocialTerrain.com
