Stimulate sales in a down market

Chances are pretty great that people still need to buy what you offer. How close are you to understanding those basic needs? Find out what your customers absolutely must have to stay in business and present it to them in a way that lets them know you understand their need to cut back on costs. It doesn’t always have to be a price reduction.

Find a way of packaging items or offering service that demonstrates that you understand, above your competitors, the changes that have recently occurred in their supply chain management needs. Help them help themselves in new ways that will work in this economic climate. Get the word out by sending emails and making calls. A true partner is there to help when times are tough. If you can offer effective solutions in a down market, chances are they will continue to trust you when business is hopping!
